Last time I was home, I was kindly set a couple of products to review from Skinny Caffe. Whilst I am not a fan of quick fix weight loss gimmicks, I do feel that there are certain ingredients that can be easily incorporated into daily life that can certainly help nourish the gut and iron out digestive issues. Skinny Caffe offer a range of hot drinks that include superfood ingredients designed to boost metabolism, help curb sweet cravings and help with digestion. All of the hot drink products are vegan-friendly and also gluten-free too. And some of the ingredients include:… View Post

You’ll know by now that I am an utter skincare junkie, which was part of the inspiration behind my luxury vegan subscription box, TGV Luxe Edit. But you might not know that I am also obsessed with haircare. Indeed, there are few things more enjoyable than a night of pampering and trying out fantastic vegan products to tell you, dear readers, all about! I was sent this Grapefruit Hair Remedy from Alchemy Oils to try out and review earlier this year, and after some consistent use, I’m ready to reveal all (oo-er). Not only are Alchemy Oils super chic in… View Post

This is one for my UK readers, and you are going to LOVE what I’m going to talk to you about! All Plants is an amazing new company I found out about that… wait for it… delivers wholesome, nutritious, plant-based meals directly to your home!! Don’t judge, but as an extremely busy person I often just find cooking takes up so much time, and it’s precious time that could be spent writing my book or working on my various projects. I don’t feel like this all the time, but occasionally I just fuel up on coffee and away we go!… View Post

It’s no secret that Italy is my favourite country, and if you’ve read the Italy Diaries from the blog earlier this year, you’ll understand a little about why I am so obsessed with it. I first went to Rome almost 3 years ago, just before I went vegan, so it was wonderful to return in 2017 as a fully-fledged vegan, on the hunt for some plant-based Italian goodness. Rome is very vegan-friendly, and I firmly recommend taking some elasticated trousers with you because you will eat a lot. Even though a location is vegan-friendly, this doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll… View Post

I am a huge Tints of Nature fan, I honestly love their products and have been using them consistently for a while now (read my other review of their hair dye, shampoo and conditioner here). So when I was offered the chance to try out their new dry shampoo I jumped at the opportunity! I’ve been doing a fair bit of travelling recently as I’ve been researching the best vegan-friendly locations for my book and series of guidebooks and one of the things I found annoying was the fact that my usual dry shampoo was too big to carry on… View Post

I’ve always been one to enjoy a glass of bubbles, whether it be champagne, prosecco or cava, there’s a certain je ne sais quoi about sipping on a cold glass of something special as you relax after a busy day, or enjoy a catch up with friends. Sadly there are some wines and sparkling wines that are not vegan-friendly, which is particularly annoying. So when I found out that Thomson & Scott’s Skinny Prosecco not only offers just 7g of sugar per litre (compared to the standard 12-12.5g) but is also suitable for vegans, I just had to try some. I… View Post

I’m a little bit in love. I have to admit, I’ve always struggled to find decent, reasonably priced products that are vegan and cruelty-free here in Belgium, which is why if you ever see me on the Eurostar from the UK I’ve usually got a tonne of Superdrug’s B range items with me, and other new products that I want to try out.. There are of course bio shops here that have a selection of suitable items, but they always seem to be really expensive, or (dare I say it) not very good. When I was contacted by the lovely… View Post

I’ve been travelling a lot over the past couple of months, and something I always suffer with is ‘plane face’. Yup, my skin does NOT like flying, and no matter how much water I drink, if I travel with no make-up on or hit up a load of hot water and lemon before and after my flight, I always suffer with breakouts. One of my favourite products I use to help bring my skin back to its normal state is Botanicals Gentle Cleanse Melt. Oh it is just heaven! I have quite oily skin, so I use the sensitive and… View Post

I really enjoyed doing the Facebook Live today on my current favourite skincare products! I think I’ll do a few more focusing on different topics – so please let me know what you’d like to hear about. Next time I’ll talk about vegan make-up. You can watch the full video on Facebook here. As promised, all the items mentioned in my video can be found below: Cleanser: B Pure Sensitive Micellar Cleansing Wipes – Superdrug.  Paula’s Choice Pore Normalizing Cleanser  (international shipping available as they are based in NL) Gentle Cleanse Melt (normal, sensitive, combination skin) – Botanicals  (International shipping available,… View Post

Back in my non-vegan days, I was a bit of a fake tan addict – Fake Bake to be precise. However, after making the switch to vegan and cruelty-free products, and becoming lazy when it came to tanning, I stopped with the faux glow (oh, no). To be honest, as I am half Tunisian, I’m not exactly pale anyway, but my face has always been a couple of shades lighter than the rest of me… strange I know, and annoying. Anyway, I digress. A month or so ago I decided I needed to be browner – it makes you look… View Post
